US Attorney Jeanine Pirro

Winthrop Rockefeller Distinguished Lecture Series with Keynote by U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro

The U.S. Marshals Museum will welcome Jeanine Ferris Pirro, U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, as keynote speaker for the Winthrop Rockefeller Distinguished Lecture Series on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Museum in Fort Smith.

The Winthrop Rockefeller Distinguished Lecture Series brings prominent national voices to the U.S. Marshals Museum for conversations that explore the American justice system, civic leadership, public service, and the constitutional principles that shape our democracy. Funded by a generous grant from the family of former Arkansas Governor Winthrop Rockefeller, the series was designed to welcome leaders connected to the executive, judicial, and legislative branches of government.

“We are honored to welcome U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro to the U.S. Marshals Museum as part of the Winthrop Rockefeller Distinguished Lecture Series,” said Ben Johnson, President and CEO of the U.S. Marshals Museum. “Her extensive background in prosecution, judicial service, and public leadership will offer our audience a compelling perspective on the administration of justice and the continuing importance of the rule of law in American life.”

Judge Pirro brings more than three decades of courtroom and public service experience to the program. She previously served as an Assistant District Attorney in Westchester County, New York, became the first woman elected to the Westchester County Court, and was later elected Westchester County District Attorney for three consecutive terms. She also served as the first female president of the New York State District Attorneys Association.

The lecture series reflects the Museum’s broader educational mission by bringing nationally recognized leaders to Fort Smith for timely public discussion on justice, history, government, and civic responsibility. As the national museum dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the United States Marshals Service, the U.S. Marshals Museum serves as a place for scholarship, public dialogue, and deeper understanding of the nation’s oldest federal law enforcement agency.
